Implants are made of titanium and are placed in the jawbone where they fuse with the bone over time. They are strong and durable and can last a lifetime with proper care.

The implant process can be a long one, but so worth the wait! Are you curious about the implant undertaking? First, x-rays and impressions of the jaw and teeth are captured in order to determine the density of the surrounding bone, health of the gum tissue, and spacing is available in the mouth for implants. If you are a good candidate for a dental implant, a future appointment at our office, or at an oral surgeons office will be scheduled to continue forth with the surgical placement of the implants inside the upper or lower jawbone. After several weeks/months of healing, the artificial teeth are made and fitted specifically for the patient. The artificial teeth attached to implants are very natural looking and can often help restore or improve somebody’s smile.
